BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2025 Men’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Week 6/October 23 Polls.

Released each week during the season, the Top 20 and Division III Top 10 polls have no bearing on qualifiers for the National Collegiate Club Championship.

2025 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 (Week 6/October 23)

Defending National Champion the University of California-San Diego hangs on at No. 1 by a single point in the 2025 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 Week 6/October 23 Poll.

UC-San Diego (95 points) – which took over the top spot two weeks back – holds off the University of California (94 points) by a point and tops No. 3 California Polytechnic State University (93 points) by a pair of points.

The University of California-Santa Barbara (78 points) stays at No. 4, while California Maritime Academy (74 points) and California State University-Chico (74 points) enter a tie at No. 5.

San Diego State University (66 points) enters the Top 10 at No. 7 with the University of Florida (61 points), Michigan State University (58 points) and newcomer the University of San Francisco (53 points) completing the Top 10.

The University of Washington (48 points) and Boston University (45 points) move to No. 11 and 12 with the duo of Texas A&M University (35 points) and Cornell University (35 points) tying at No. 13.

The University of California-Los Angeles (34 points) and the University of Notre Dame (21 points) come in at No. 15 and 16,  Pennsylvania State University (17 points) and the University of Texas (17 points) tie at No. 17 with the University of South Florida (16 points) and the University of California-Davis (13 points) concluding the Top 20.

2025 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 (Week 6/October 23)

The University of California-Santa Cruz and New York University remain tied at No. 1 in the Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 Week 6/October 23 Poll.

UC-Santa Cruz (94 points) and NYU (94 points) lead a Top 10 in which the 10 teams retain their rankings from the Week 5/October 16 voting.

Middlebury College (91 points) and Augustana College (91 points) stay tied at No. 3, while the United States Coast Guard Academy (76 points), Carleton College (74 points), Bowdoin College (67 points) and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (64 points) remain at No. 5-to-8, respectively.

The duo of Grinnell College (51 points) and Tufts University (51 points) complete the Top 10 in a tie at No. 9.
