2025 Women’s Collegiate Club Sierra Pacific Division Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2025 Women’s Collegiate Club Sierra Pacific Division schedule.

Following a split of the division into the Sierra Pacific and Bay Area Divisions, the group will be comprised of California Maritime Academy, Chico State University, the University of California “A”, the University of California “B”, the University of California-Davis “A”, the University of California-Davis “B” and newcomer the University of Nevada-Reno in 2025.

Fresno State University (2007), UC-Davis (2008, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2024), the University of California-Santa Cruz (2010, 2012) and California (2015, 2022, 2023) have combined for all 15 prior Sierra Pacific Division overall and “A” crowns, while former division member the University of California-Merced captured the 2023 “B” title during a year when the group competed in “A” and “B” subdivisions.  A Sierra Pacific Division champion was not crowned during either the 2020 or 2021 seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic terminating the completion and start of the campaigns, respectively.

Competition begins on Saturday-Sunday, January 25-26, at Cal Maritime in Vallejo, Calif., with 14 games.  UC-Davis in Davis, Calif., hosts the final 14 regular season contests on Saturday-Sunday, February 22-23.

The 11-game Sierra Pacific Championship is slated for Saturday-Sunday, March 22-23, at Cal Maritime with the victor earning the group’s automatic berth to the 2025 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship on Friday-Sunday, April 11-13, at a site to be determined.
