2025 Men’s Collegiate Club Sierra Pacific Division Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases updates to the 2025 Men’s Collegiate Club Sierra Pacific Division schedule.

California State Maritime Academy (Cal Maritime), California State University-Chico, California State University-Monterey Bay, Fresno State University, San Jose State University, Stanford University, the University of California, the University of California-Davis, the University of California-Santa Cruz and the University of San Francisco will compete in the division during the 2025 season.

The Sierra Pacific Division will contest its 14th season in the CWPA with UC-Santa Cruz (2011), California (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022, 2023) and Cal Maritime (2019, 2024) combining to claim all 14 previous championship titles.  The 2020 season was not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Regular season competition remains unchanged as of Thursday, September 4, while the championship experiences a significant change with the creation of a “B” Championship on Saturday-Sunday, October 25-26, at Cal State Monterey Bay in Seaside, Calif.

The division championship will be decided on Saturday-Sunday, October 25-26, at UC-Santa Cruz as the top six teams from the regular season meet for a nine-game slate during the “A” Championship to determine which squad earns an automatic berth to the 2025 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship on Friday-Sunday, November 7-9, at a site to be determined.

The “B” Championship at Cal State Monterey Bay will match the No. 7-to-10 finishers from the regular season in a six-game event to determine Seventh-to-10th places in the final standings.
