NEW YORK, N.Y. — Durham University is seeking to recruit postgraduate scholars for the 2019-20 academic year for men’s water polo.The successful candidates will become part of Britain’s largest and most established International Postgraduate Scholar program and will compete for Britain’s Number One Team Sport University alongside studying at a world top 75 university.

Durham’s Water Polo team won the National Championship in 2016-17 and are looking to re-claim the title in 2019-20. Outside of inter-University competition, students will also have the opportunity to compete for Durham Palatinates in the British Water Polo League.

*British University Sport eligibility regulations allow the successful candidates to play for the University team regardless of the number of years played in the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

Masters qualifications are completed in one year in Britain – over 150 world class MA and MSc programs are available.The successful candidates will receive the following package:

The successful candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • NCAA playing experience
  • Undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
