BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) recently announced a change to the league’s social media branding and policy as the organization launched a new Twitter account, @CWPAClubs, the new home of CWPA collegiate club competition.

After conversations, the league administration elected to split the Collegiate Water Polo Association’s Twitter presence into two accounts. The existing @CWPAWaterPolo remains the home of the Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) and Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) for the men’s teams along with the Collegiate Water Polo Association and Collegiate Water Polo Association Division III for the women’s programs.

Due to the size and number of collegiate club teams – and to give the institutions a richer and fuller social media presence – the league creating @CWPAClub provides fans who are interested exclusively in collegiate club play a place to follow the league’s 18 men’s divisions and 15 women’s divisions.

The league’s Facebook (@CWPAWaterPolo) and Instagram (@CWPAWaterPolo) accounts will remain unchanged at this time.
