BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Game of the Week series turns to the 2017 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC)-West Region Championship hosted at the Hallman Aquatics Center in Erie, Pa. The No. 1 seed/host Golden Knights of Gannon, which captured the MAWPC-West Region Championship via a 13-12 sudden death victory over Mercyhurst University, downed the No. 5 seed Explorers of La Salle by a 12-9 final score in the semifinal.
