BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Gannon University’s Anthony Squeglia (Sr., Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep) posted five goals, four assists, three steals and an exclusion drawn during a 2-0 week for the Golden Knights to claim status as the February 8 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Player of the Week.
Competing at Mount St. Mary’s University’s Knott Athletic Recreation Convocation Complex (ARCC) on Saturday, February 6, he scored three goals in a 22-10 defeat of the host Mountaineers prior to adding pairs of goals and steals with a drawn exclusion in a 9-6 victory over Mercyhurst University.
