LORETTO, Pa. — The Saint Francis University water polo added another player to next year’s roster as Halle O’Neal has agreed to join the squad.
O’Neal, who will also swim at Saint Francis, will use her dual-sports skills at the attacker position to punish the opposition nets for the Red Flash. She is a member of the USA Water Polo Olympic Development Program. Furthermore, she competes with Kearns Water Polo Club in the USA Water Polo Junior Olympics.
Coach Jay O’Neil on O’Neal, “We are very excited to have Halle joining the team. Her speed and work ethic allow her to pick up the collegiate game quickly. Her experience as a level 10 gymnast shows she has the discipline and tenacity to compete well at this level.”
The Saint Francis water polo just completed a season which witnessed the squad winning its second ever CWPA Tournament game; a 11-7 victory over George Washington University.
