CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Harvard University Athletics will require spectators at all indoor campus athletic events to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test administered within the previous 72 hours. This policy will go into effect Friday, October 15.
Fans attending indoor contests can comply with this requirement by showing the following:
- Proof of vaccination by showing one’s vaccine card, a photo of one’s card or a digital vaccine record is required for all indoor athletic events. The vaccine card must show two dates for Moderna/Pfizer and one date for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
- Anyone who is exempt from or ineligible to receive the vaccine will be required to take a COVID-19 test within 72 hours before entering a Harvard Athletics facility and present their negative results at the door.
- Children under the age of 12 do not need to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test but must adhere to all other visitor policies including wearing a mask while indoors.
- Given Harvard’s vaccine requirement for all faculty, staff, and students, Harvard University students, faculty and staff can show their HUID to gain entrance.
These policies are subject to additions and changes as we get further guidance from Harvard University. Ticket holders who do not comply with venue policies will not be admitted. Ticket holders who are unable to comply can exchange to a different contest, if tickets remain available, at which they are able to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. If you or someone in your party are experiencing symptoms prior to attending the contest, please Harvard to discuss options (or to exchange your tickets to a future date). Please note: indoor venues will operate at full capacity at this time.
Harvard Athletics encourages all spectators to arrive early due to possible delays for entry.
Information on concessions will be available at a later date.
