BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Brooke Hourigan (Fr., Newport Beach, Calif./Orange Lutheran) of No. 18-ranked Harvard University recorded four goals, three assists and six steals during a 3-0 weekend for the Crimson at the Princeton University Invitational to claim status as the February 17 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week.
A two-time Rookie of the Week selection in 2020 after taking the February 10 honor, Hourigan helped Harvard top No. 22 San Diego State University (10-8 W), St. Francis College Brooklyn (20-6 W) and No. 17 Wagner College (9-6 W) as the Crimson improved to 10-1 on the season.
She scored once and collected a pair of steals versus San Diego State prior to recording a hat-trick with three goals, an assist and three steals versus St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday, February 15. Hourigan concluded the weekend by handing out a pair of assists and snagging a steal in aiding the cause against Wagner on Sunday, February 16.
