ERIE, Pa. — The Mercyhurst University men’s water polo team will welcome seven other squads to the Cathedral Prep-Villa Events Center when it hosts the 2017 Laker Invitational on Saturday-Sunday, September 8-9.
The Lakers will host fellow Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) members Gannon University, Washington & Jefferson College, Salem University and La Salle University, along with non-conference opponents the California Institute of Technology from the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) and Penn State Behrend of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF).
A total of 15 games will be contested over two days, starting with a 9:30 a.m. matchup between Gannon and Salem.
