ERIE, Pa. — Mercyhurst University is accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Water Polo Coach.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with all facets of a Division II varsity program in the Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) including evaluating/ recruiting of potential student athletes, organizing and planning of practices/ games, and monitoring of academic progress for both the Men’s and Women’s Water Polo teams.

The graduate assistant position is for a maximum of 2-years and includes full tuition waiver plus paid stipend of $7,500.00 per academic year. Anticipated start date is August 2023.

Qualifications include collegiate water polo playing experience. Coaching experience at any level preferred. Looking to fill the position immediately.

NOTE: Students in the Physician Assistant or Master of Athletic Training program are not eligible for GA positions due to the clinical nature of the programs.
