CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — No. 15-ranked Harvard University topped Long Island University, 20-9, in a Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) clash.
The Crimson jumped out to an early lead after outscoring the Sharks 13-3 through two quarters. A six-point game from Rishi Mohan helped lead the Crimson offensively, while Oliver Price picked up two assists and 13 stops.
Five different Crimson found the back of the net in the first quarter.
James Rozolis-Hill finished the game with a hat-trick after scoring two goals in the first quarter and one in the second.
Vilas Sogaard-Srikrishnan had a three-point morning after a goal and two assists.
Owen Hale, Tyler Hogan, Mason Hunt, Mot Stothart, Bradford Dickson, Dean Strauser, Emile Labrador and Cyrus Symington all scored one goal each.
13 different Crimson found the back of the net in a great showing from the offense.
Lukas Peabody added a pair of goals, while Jack Burghardt and Labrador both recorded three points.
The victory marked the sixth time this season the Crimson’s offense has scored twenty or more goals.
