PRINCETON, N.J. — The No. 6-ranked Princeton University men’s water polo team wrapped up a Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) weekend with a 15-9 defeat of No. 17 Brown University at DeNunzio Pool.

Even at two-all, George Caras and Roko Pozaric put the Tigers up by a pair before settling with a 4-3 lead after eight minutes.

Pierce Maloney and Pozaric added on to the home squad’s advantage to start the second quarter before head coach Dustin Litvak‘s group went into halftime up three, 7-4.

The Tigers began the second half with three straight goals and four of the first five to extend the score to 11-5 with 3:48 to go in the third stanza.

Brown got within five four times the rest of the way but could not make another push to get closer.

Pozaric scored five times in the game, one shy of his career mark, while West Temkin had 11 saves in the game.
