CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Kayla Yelensky scored four times as No. 8-ranked Princeton University women’s water polo defeated the No. 15 the University of California-Santa Barbara, 9-7, to finish the Crimson Classic at Harvard University.

Kate Mallery‘s goal with 1:37 to go in the first quarter put the Tigers in front, 2-1. UC-Santa Barbara registered the next two tallies, but a strike by Shanna Davidson evened the score at three-all.

After the two teams exchanged goals, Yelensky and Mallery put the Tigers ahead, 6-4, with 90 seconds remaining in the third stanza.

The Guachos snagged the next two tallies before the Tigers put the contest away with three consecutive goals from Emese Batizi, Davidson and Yelensky.
