SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The No. 9-ranked Harvard University men’s water polo team defeated Division III No. 5 Chapman University, 13-6, in the Crimson’s final match of the Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament hosted by Santa Clara University. The Crimson is now 22-0 on the season, the only remaining undefeated team in the nation.

Seniors Bennie Seybold and Austin Sechrest, sophomore Alex Tsotadze and first-year Kaleb Archer each found the back of the net twice to add to Harvard’s goal total. First-year goalie Nathan Wu had a career-game by recording 15 saves, two assists and three steals.

The Crimson tallied four-straight goals in the final three minutes of the first quarter to take the 4-0 lead. Wu did not concede a goal until over a minute into the second quarter and Harvard was held scoreless to cut its lead to 4-2 going into the half. The Crimson began to pull away in the third quarter, outscoring Chapman 7-1 to go up 11-3 entering the fourth. Chapman went on a three-goal run in the first half of the fourth quarter, however the surge was not enough to catch the Crimson.
