BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Lindsay Cheung (So., Irvine, Calif./Woodbridge) of No. 10-ranked Northeastern University posted seven goals, three assists, five steals and a field block during a 4-0 weekend for the Huskies during the opening weekend of Women’s Collegiate Club New England Division competition at Boston University. For her performance, Cheung is recognized as the division’s February 3 co-Player of the Week.
She helped Northeastern turn back Boston College (13-7 W), the University of Massachusetts (13-9 W), the University of Connecticut (14-4 W) and the host Terriers (6-4 W) as the Huskies garnered an early lead in the division standings.
Cheung shares the award with Mahina Damon (Jr., Honolulu, Hawaii/Punahou School) who accounted for 10 goals during a 2-2 weekend for Dartmouth College.
