BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Official Scott Voltz recently appeared as a guest on fellow referee Chad Packer’s “That’s A Foul” podcast.
Voltz, who was selected to call the 2019 UANA Youth Pan American Championships in Couva, Trinidad & Tobago, has risen in the ranks from competing in high school water polo to calling some of the most important collegiate games in the United States.
A 2001 graduate of Rockford High School in Michigan, he attended Michigan State University where he played on the men’s collegiate club team and assisted the women’s club team for three years before taking over as head coach. During his time as head coach, MSU won the the National Collegiate Club Championship in 2006 and captured a pair of Big Ten titles.
Each episode of the “That’s A Foul” podcast allows the guests to share their stories, where they have been and where they are headed. Further, the intent it to help explore what makes the guest good at what they do and the questions they still have or what they are working on. Stories are aimed at the listener and provide context around things that can be done to improve.
