PRINCETON, N.J. — After reaching the Northeast Water Polo Conference Championship game in 2017, the Princeton Tigers have announced the Class of 2022.
 
Wyatt Benson
Hometown: Huntington Beach, Calif.

Position: Center
High School: CIF-SS Division I and Trinity first team accolades … Squad won the CIF-SS Division I title and California State High School crowns twice (2015, 2017) and the inaugural California regional championship (2017) … Earned Team’s Best Offensive Player.
Academic: Secured honors on the Principal’s List … Honor Roll … USA Water Polo All-Academic … California Scholastic Federation … Water Polo and Swim Team Scholar-Athlete Award.
ODP/National: Junior Olympic Champion in the platinum division three times (14U twice, 19U) … Ironman 19UTournament Champion in 2015.
Personal: Son of Laurie and Gary Benson … Has a sister, Laurel.

Why I chose Princeton: “I chose Princeton because I wanted to have a rigorous academic experience, while still playing water polo at a competitive level,” said Cooper. “I love how beautiful Princeton’s campus is, and I was fortunate enough to meet amazing people from all over the world when I visited.”
 
Keller Maloney
Hometown: Los Angeles, Calif.
High School: Harvard-Westlake
Height: 5’11
High School: Senior captain … Mission League MVP and All-CIF second team … Was the team’s top goal scorer … Squad won the 2014 CIF SS DI championship, finished runner-up in 2015 and was two-time semifinalist (2016-17)
Academic: USA Water Polo All-Academic four times … Cum Laude.
Personal: Son of Nicole and Robert Maloney … Had one brother and one sister … Grandfather, Andrew Jackson Miller III (Ohio State) and Uncle, Andrew Jackson Miller IV (UCLA), played football on both the collegiate and professional levels … Uncle, Treg Miller, golfed at the University of Baylor and played professionally.
Why I chose Princeton: “Princeton is the type of the place that values excellence in all forms,” mentioned Maloney. “The water polo team is very competitive, but it is not so at the expense of excellence in school. I was also attracted by the amazing community of undergrads and alums.”
 
Billy Motherway

High School: Senior captain that was All-CIF, All-Trinity and OC Register first team … All-Trinity second team in 2016 … Was selected as team MVP in 2017 and Defensive Team MVP in 2016 … School won the CIF Division I and Trinity League crows in 2015 and 2017.

Personal: Son of Julia and Michael Motherway ’90 … Has a sister, Cecilia … Father, Michael, play football at Princeton in 1987 … Uncle, Ryan, played football at UCLA … Uncle, Matt, played football at Stanford.
Why I chose Princeton: “I chose Princeton because my father attended there and I really liked the campus,” said Motherway. “I’m excited for the academics that will certainly expand my mind.”
 
Miles Wilson

High School: A senior captain that helped the team to the 2017 Academy League title … Also lettered in soccer … ASB President … Robotics Team Lead … Spoken Word Poetry Team Co-Captain.
Personal: Son of Taunja and Van Wilson … Has a sister, Mariah, who graduated from Princeton in 2018.
Why I chose Princeton: “It’s the best school in the country and it’s been a dream of mine since I was a freshman to go there,” stated Wilson.
