BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Defending Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Champion Princeton University will face FTC Telkom on Wednesday, September 3, at the Asphalt Green pool on the Upper East Side of New York City (555 E 90th St, New York, NY 10128) during the Pro Recco World Tour.
One of three games to be contested on Wednesday-Thursday, September 3-4, at Asphalt Green, the Princeton-FTC Telekom is the mid-point contest for a two-day event that includes:
- Wednesday, September 3 (6:00 p.m. Eastern) – Pro Recco vs. the University of California-Los Angeles
- Wednesday, September 3 (7:30 p.m. Eastern) – Princeton vs. FTC Telekom
- Thursday, September 4 (7:30 p.m. Eastern) – Pro Recco vs. FTC Telekom
Each ticket is valid for a daily pass and tickets are non-refundable. Entrance to the venue will be available 45 minutes before the event starts.
The three-time Hungarian Champions League Champions (2019, 2024, 2025), a 27-time Hungarian champion, a 24-time Hungarian cup winner, a five-time Super Cup winner and a six-time Euro Cup winner, FTC Telekom will aim to knock off the Tigers during a swing with Italian professional water polo club Pro Recco.
In Italian men’s domestic water polo, the Pro Recco has won a record 55 trophies: a record 37 Serie A1 titles and a record 18 Coppa Italia. In Ligue Européenne de Natation (LEN) European competitions, Pro Recco has won a record 20 trophies with 11 LEN Champions League titles and nine LEN Super Cups – with both marks standing as records. Further, the club has also won 1 Adriatic League title.
