BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Princeton University incoming freshman Abigail Folk (Port Perry, Ontario/Port Perry) was named an alternate on the Team Canada roster for 2025 World Aquatics Women’s U20 Water Polo Championships on August 10-18 in Salvador, Brazil.
Canada will compete in Group D with South Africa, China and Australia. The Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain and Israel will start competition in Group A, while Hungary, Greece, the United States and Italy play in Group B. Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Croatia will battle in Group C.

A member of the Canadian Youth National Team in 2022 (alternate, World Championships Serbia), 2023 (Panams, Brazil) and most recently 2024 (World Championships, China, September 2024) as well as the Canadian Junior National Team 2024 (Panams, El Salvador, May 2024), the incoming Tiger also possesses experience competing with Asphalt Green during the US Water Polo Junior Olympics.
