BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Lindsey Lucas (Fr., Orinda, Calif./Miramonte) made her inaugural games for No. 14-ranked Princeton University memorable during a 4-1 season-opening weekend at the Princeton Winter Tournament.  For posting a .591 save percentage with 52 saves, she earns the January 30 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week awards.

Following a 5-0 forfeit victory over Bucknell University on Saturday, January 28, she swatted away 12 shots against both No. 18 the University of California-San Diego (11-10 W) and No. 19 Long Island University (17-6 W) to remain perfect during her intercollegiate career.

On Sunday, January 29, she blocked down another 12 shots in disposing of No. 16 the University of California-Santa Barbara (10-8 W) prior to suffering her first loss with 16 saves in a 12-8 defeat by No. 14 Wagner College.
