UTICA, N.Y. — Former Washington & Jefferson College women’s water polo standout Rachel Clauss joins the Utica College women’s water polo staff as an assistant coach for the 2018 season.
A 2016 graduate of Washington & Jefferson, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts with a minor in Philosophy, Clauss was also a four-year member of the water polo team, helping guide the Presidents to a 61-39 record over her career and three straight trips to the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III title game.
The 2013 CWPA Division III Rookie of the Year, she garnered three All-Conference nods (2013 – Second Team; 2014 – First Team; 2016 – Second Team) to accompany Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-America Honorable Mention accolades in 2013 and 2014.
Originally from South Pasadena, Calif., Clauss pursuing her Master’s Degree at Utica.
