BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) reminds host sites for the 2025-26 Men’s and Women’s Collegiate Club seasons of their responsibilities.
All host sites should receive the following equipment the week leading up to your tournament:
- Game Balls (shipped from KAP7)
- Scoresheets (they may arrive separately by mail)
- Whistle and laminated scoring guide
- Award Plaques (if hosting a championship)
If a host site requires any of the following equipment, please email the office ASAP at office@collegiatewaterpolo.org:
- Shot Clocks (Limited Availability)
- Score Cards
- Flags
- Streaming Kit (Limited Availability)
Tournament to-do list:
- Before the tournament
1. Confirm that the schedule on the website matches the pool time you have available
2. Schedule your desk workers and train them during a practice scrimmage
3. Mark the balls to avoid confusion with other teams
4. Arrange for someone to take pictures (optional)
5. Contact the office to confirm receipt of balls and scoresheets when received. - During the tournament
1. Call the CWPA Commissioner if you have any problems
2. Give pink and yellow copies of the score sheet to opposing coaches and keep white copy (send white copy back to the league office).
3. Arrange food for referees working through mealtime (i.e. sandwiches)
4. Give the plaques to the respective teams (if hosting a championship) - Immediately after the tournament (Sunday night)
1. Email the scores or pictures of the scoresheets to haas@collegiatewaterpolo.org
2. If not sending pictures of the score sheets, send white copies to the office at: 129 W. 4th Street, Bridgeport, PA 19405
3. Send in any pictures taken during tournament for website posting
