PRINCETON, N.J. — Saint Francis University capped off its performance at the 2025 Princeton Invitational hosted by Princeton University at DeNunzio Pool by upending Siena College, 16-9, and La Salle University, 17-9.

The first quarter in the morning’s game against Siena started neck-and-neck with a goal by Lucy Willis tying the contest at two goals apiece with 1:33 remaining in the opening frame. Caylah Olay scored her first goal of the day at 1:05 to give the Red Flash the lead. Willis tallied another goal, making the score 4-2 before the horn concluded the opening quarter. Saint Francis maintained its lead the rest of the way.

Up 8-6 in the second quarter, Sam Eschleman tallied a goal to widen the lead to three. As time expired, goalie Isabel Lumley earned a goal of her own for a 10-6 lead over the Saints.

Only up three over La Salle late in the second quarter, back-to-back goals by Sofia Maioriello as time expired gave the Red Flash a 10-5 lead. Claire Gebhardt scored the first goal of the third quarter to extend the lead to six goals.

Continuing to pull ahead against the Explorers, Lucia Redaelli and Georgia Ellison notched back-to-back goals to extend the lead to seven goals at a 13-6 score.

Adi Garges led Saint Francis in scoring versus Siena with four goals. Olay and Willis were right behind her with three each. Against the Explorers, Maioriello led the team with four goals. Eschleman, Gebhardt, Olay, Redaelli and Willis tallied two apiece.

Sarah Hartwell dished out three assists against the Saints. Against La Salle, Maioriello earned three assists to lead the team.

Lumley recorded 13 saves in the morning’s win, tallying another eight against the Explorers. Grace Raquel also earned a save.

Ellison, Olay and Kayla Rhoads each earned field blocks in the morning’s game. Ellison, Ohlson and Redaelli tallied a block each in the afternoon.
