BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Dominick Hevesi (Fr., Budapest, Hungary/Ferenc Kolcsey) of No. 17-ranked St. Francis College Brooklyn scored eight goals with an assist and two ejections drawn during a 3-1 weekend for the Terriers at Brown University’s Bruno Classic to claim honors as the September 9 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Rookie of the Week.
He aided SFC in downing No. 20 California Baptist University (11-10 W), McKendree University (18-7 W) and Wagner College (10-9 W) to accompany a 13-10 loss to No. 14 Bucknell University at Brown’s Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center.
Hevesi contributed hat-tricks versus both McKendree and Bucknell to go along with a pair of markers in helping to dispatch Wagner.
