BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Ryan McLaughlin (Sr., Blue Bell, Pa./La Salle College) of Pennsylvania State University scored 12 goals, handed out seven assists and grabbed eight steals during a 3-0 weekend for Nittany Lions in aiding his team to the 2024 Men’s Collegiate Club Mid-Atlantic Division Championship at home in State College over the weekend. For his performance, McLaughlin is named the division’s October 21 Player of the Week.
Following a 17-5 opening game victory over Penn State “B”, he scored five times in a 21-13 semifinal dispatching of the University of Pittsburgh prior to putting away seven markers in a 17-9 title game defeat of Villanova University.
Courtesy the win, Penn State earned the Mid-Atlantic Division’s automatic berth to the 2024 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship scheduled for Friday-Sunday, November 8-10, in Gainesville, Fla., at the University of Florida.
