BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Defending Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Champion the University of Michigan will host Wagner College, University of the Pacific, Hartwick College, Marist College and the New York Athletic Club on Saturday-Sunday, January 27-28, at Canham Natatorium in the 12-game Michigan Invitational.

Competition begins on Saturday, January 27, as Michigan faces Wagner at Noon prior to Hartwick-vs.-Pacific (1:10 p.m.) and Marist-vs.-NYAC (2:20 p.m.) completing the first session of action.  Play resumes at 5:00 p.m. when NYAC squares off with Wagner prior to Michigan-vs.-Pacific (6:10 p.m.) and Marist-vs.-Hartwick (7:20 p.m.) wrapping up the first day of the tournament.

The teams will return to the pool on Sunday, January 28, for the final six games of the weekend as Wagner-vs.-Pacific (8:00 a.m.), Hartwick-vs.-NYAC (9:10 a.m.) and Michigan-vs.-Marist (10:20 a.m.) begin the day.  Marist-vs.-NYAC (1:30 p.m.), Michigan-vs.-NYAC (2:40 p.m.) and Hartwick-vs.-Wagner (3:50 p.m.) round out the slate as each team will compete in four games over the weekend.

For statistical purposes, the games and all statistics against NYAC do not count towards the team record or individual records for either Michigan, Hartwick, Wagner or Marist as the opponent is not a collegiate varsity program.
