BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Anika Harding (Sr., Danville, Calif./Monte Vista) of No. 11-ranked the University of Washington “A” racked up 10 goals, seven assists and eight steals during a 4-0 weekend for the Huskies at Echo Hollow Pool in Eugene, Oregon, to garner notice as the February 24 Women’s Collegiate Club Northwest Division co-Player of the Week.
She shares the award with Jessica Cruser (Jr., Walnut Creek, Calif./Las Lomas) of Oregon State University “A” who contributed nine goals, five assists, nine steals and a field block during a 3-1 weekend for the Beavers.
Washington took down the University of Oregon “A” (9-4 W), Oregon State “B” (19-2 W), Oregon “B” (14-4 W) and Western Washington University (17-3 W) to conclude the regular season with an 8-0 mark in Northwest Division competition.
Due to its unblemished record, Washington “A” clinched the No. 1 seed for the Northwest Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, March 1-2, at the Salvation Army’s Kroc Center in Couer d’Alene, Idaho.
