STOCKTON, Calif. — The University of the Pacific seeks a Manager of Water Polo Operations responsible for assisting in the administration and management of the men’s and women’s water polo program for Pacific Intercollegiate Athletics.

Essential Functions:

1. Arranges all travel for men’s and women’s water polo team contests conducted away from the Pacific campus.
2. Coordinates fundraising and promotional activities for the men’s and women’s water polo program.
3. Coordinates camps and clinics for the men’s and women’s water polo program.
4. Arranges all practice facility usage both on and off campus.
5. Assists in monitoring the academic performance of men’s and women’s water polo student-athletes.
6. Handles the men’s and women’s water polo film exchange program.
7. Orders and distributes all team apparel and equipment.
8. Assists in driving the teams on all travel trips.
9. Other duties as assigned by the head men’s and women’s water polo coach. 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Two (2) years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with specific emphasis/concentration in sports management or related field.
• Strong Computer skills.
• Working knowledge of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and University of the Pacific rules and regulations as they pertain to student-athletes and prospective student-athletes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and proven organizational skills.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively in team environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to persuade encourage and motivate team members.
• Possesses a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work successfully with all levels of the organization and diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion.
• Working knowledge of Water Polo.
