BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Tatum Bruno (Fr., Riverside, Ill./Riverside-Brookesfield) of first-year varsity program Wittenberg University tallied nine goals, three steals and a pair of kickouts drawn during a 2-2 weekend at the Washington & Jefferson College Invitational to earn honors as the February 25 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Rookie of the Week.
Competing in the inaugural games in the history of the Tigers’ program, Bruno helped Wittenberg top Grove City College (11-9 W) and Penn State Behrend (14-10 W), while suffering defeats to Division III No. 10-ranked/host W&J (13-11 L) and No. 9 Occidental College (17-11 L).
