BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Hannah Mendenhall (Fr., Annapolis, Md./St. Mary’s) of the United States Naval Academy contributed 14 goals, nine assists, 10 steals and a field block during a 2-2 weekend for the Midshipmen in Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Women’s Collegiate Club Atlantic Division competition at the University of Maryland in College Park, Md.  For her performance, Mendenhall earns commendation as the April 8 Women’s Collegiate Club Atlantic Division co-Player of the Week.

She shares the award with Mollie Morin (Jr., Kensington, Md./St. John’s College) of Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech).

Mendenhall helped the Mids sink James Madison University (9-5 W) and the host Terrapins (14-6 W) to accompany setbacks versus Georgetown University (9-7 L) and Virginia Tech (16-7 L) as the team concluded the regular season with a 6-2 mark.

The runner-up in the Atlantic Division regular season race to Virginia Tech, Navy will continue the season at the division championship tournament on Saturday-Sunday, April 20-21, at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va.
