BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Amanda Martilla (Gr., Canyon Lake, Calif./Temescal Canyon) and Tania Frank (Jr., Sunnyvale, Calif./Fremont) of the University of California-San Diego combined for nine goals, nine assists, three steals, four ejections drawn and a field block during the 2024 Women’s Collegiate Club Southwest Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, April 27-28, to share the division’s April 29 Player of the Week award.
Martilla finished with three goals, two assists, a seal four ejections drawn and a field block, while Frank tallied six goals on six shots, seven assists and two steals as the Tritons took down the University of Arizona (22-3 W), the University of California-Irvine (19-5 W) and San Diego State University “A” (7-3 W) during the division championship tournament hosted at home in La Jolla, Calif.
