BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — 19 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) and Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) athletes are among 55 selections to the 2025 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) Division I All-America team.

Divided into eight First Team, eight Second Team, eight Third Team and 31 Honorable Mention honorees, the ACWPC Division I All-America team is selected based on nominations and voting by the head coaches of each Division I varsity program.

Leading the way is Fordham University’s Andras Toth (So., Pecs, Hungary/PTE Babits Gyakorlo Gimnazium) who earns First Team recognition.  A two-time All-America recipient following Honorable Mention recognition in 2024 he joins teammate Luca Provenziani (So., Rome, Italy/Liceo Scientifico Statale Isaaco Newton) (2024), Roko Pozaric of Princeton University (2023) and Rade Joksimovic of Bucknell University (2019) as the only men’s athletes from East Coast institutions to earn First Team recognition dating back to at least 1975.

Provenziani joins Toth in garnering his second All-America nod as he earns Second Team status in 2025.

Logan McCarroll (Sr., Laguna Beach, Calif./Mater Dei) takes his inaugural All-America accolade with Third Team laurels, while 16 athletes secure acknowledgement on the Honorable Mention list.

The United States Naval Academy’s Kiefer Black (Jr., San Diego, Calif./La Jolla) and Princeton goalkeeper Kristof Kovacs (Jr., Hódmezovásárhely, Hungary/Bethlen Gábor Reformed) lead the Honorable Mention recipients as the duo obtain their third nods on the list following Honorable Mention recognition in both 2023 and 2024.

Fordham’s Luca Silvestri (Gr., Napoli, Italy/Istituo Comprensivo Sacro Cuore (Westcliff Universtiy)), Iona University’s Rastko Jevdjovic (Sr., Belgrade, Serbia/Third Belgrade Grammar School) (2024), Harvard University’s Jack Burghardt (Jr., Manhattan Beach, Calif./Harvard-Westlake) (2024) and Brown University’s Jaxson Tierney (Jr., Sierra Madre, Calif./Harvard-Westlake) (2023) acquire their second Honorable Mention All-America awards.

Mount St. Marys University’s Aaron Tarr (Jr., Durban, South Africa/Westville Boys), Fordham’s Balazs Berenyi (Sr., Budapest, Hungary/BME Secondary Grammar School) and Barnabas Eppel (Jr., Budapest, Hungary/Budenz Jozsef Alapitvanyi Gimnazium), Princeton’s Gavin Appeldorn (So., Newport Beach, Calif./Newport Harbor) and Taylor Bell (Fr., Tustin, Calif./JSerra Catholic), Harvard’s Lukas Peabody (So., San Diego, Calif./The Bishop’s School) and Tyler Hogan (So., Atherton, Calif./Sacred Heart Prep) along with Wagner College’s Laszlo Strasser (Sr., Budapest, Hungary/Scheiber Sandor Primary School & College) and Smith Connors (So., Brisbane, Australia/Good Shepard Lutheran College) join George Washington University’s Adonis Vlassis (Sr., Athens, Greece/Lycee Franco-Hellenique Eugene DeLacroix Athens) in completing the Honorable Mention All-America list.
