BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The 2017-18 Sports Information Directors (SID) of the Year for the three men’s conferences (Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference, Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference-West Region, Northeast Water Polo Water Polo Conference) and two women’s conferences (Collegiate Water Polo Association, Collegiate Water Polo Association Division III) are slated to be released next week.
Selected by the leagues’ Director of Communications in consultation with the leagues’ membership, the SID of the Year awards are presented to offices which have achieved notable excellence in the field of water polo communications during the past academic year. For the seventh time, the league office is also presenting a “Sports Information Office of the Year” which goes to a member institution which sponsors both men’s and women’s water polo in either the MAWPC, NWPC and/or CWPA/CWPA Division III.
