BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The 2018 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Championship will be decided this weekend as Brown University in Providence, R.I., hosts the seven-game event on Friday-Sunday, November 16-18.

Comprised of Brown, Harvard University, Iona College, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Princeton University and St. Francis College Brooklyn, the six NWPC institutions will battle for bragging rights with the goal of capturing the league championship and a berth to the 2018 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship.  Due to the structure of the NCAA Championship field, a play-in game against the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Champion on the Saturday following Thanksgiving is likely in the cards for the NWPC Champion at a site to be determined by the NCAA Water Polo and Championship committees.

For fans making the trip to Brown, general admission ticket prices are $10 per day and $25 for a weekend pass to the games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Brown faculty, staff, administration and students will be free with presentation of student/staff ID as the institution plans to pay for the admission cost.

Fans who can not make the trip to Providence will be able to follow all the action online as the NWPC Championship will be live-streamed by Brown through the institution’s Ivy League portal on ESPN+.  Links to the coverage are available in the bracket below:
