LOS ANGELES, Calif. —  The bracket for the first ever Division III Collegiate Water Polo National Championship sponsored by USA Water Polo has been announced. The tournament will be held from Saturday-Sunday, December 7-8 at Whittier College, who earned hosting rights after winning the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championship last weekend. Joining Whittier College will be Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges, Johns Hopkins University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps qualified for the tournament by finishing runner up at the SCIAC Championship Tournament. John Hopkins qualified in October by winning the Division III Eastern Championship over MIT, who also qualified by finishing as the runner up.

The first round beings on Saturday, December 7 at 4:00 p.m Pacific/7:00 p.m. Eastern with SCIAC Champion Whittier taking on MIT. The second game takes place at 6:00 p.m. Pacific/9:00 p.m. Eastern with John Hopkins squaring off against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. The winners of each game will then advance to play each other in the Championship game on Sunday, December 8 at 12:30 p.m. Pacific/3:30 p.m. Eastern. Prior to that game taking place the third place game between the other two teams will take place at 10:30 a.m./1:30 p.m. Eastern.

12:30 PM: First Place Game
