BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The 2019 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC)-West Region Championship will be held on Saturday-Sunday, November 9-10, at the David M. Hallman Aquatics Center in Erie, Pa.
The site of the 2016, 2017 and 2018 MAWPC-West Championships, the 2019 edition features Connecticut College, Gannon University, McKendree University, Mercyhurst University, Monmouth College, Salem International University and Washington & Jefferson College. The two-day, 10-game championship will determine both the MAWPC-West Region Champion and the qualifying team for the MAWPC Championship on Friday-Sunday, November 22-24 at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa., with the host Bison, Fordham University, George Washington University, Johns Hopkins University, La Salle University, the United States Naval Academy and Wagner College.
The victor of the MAWPC Championship at Bucknell earns an automatic berth to the 2019 National Collegiate Athletic Association Men’s Water Polo Championship field.
