*As Penn State Behrend and Washington & Jefferson College both defeated the other by four goals, the tiebreaker used to determine the East’s No. 3 spot is goal differential against teams seeded higher – Grove City College and Connecticut College. W&J holds a -24 differential (18-9 L, 18-10 L vs. Grove City; 11-6 L, 8-6 L vs. Connecticut College) compared to Penn State Behrend’s -11 (16-9 L, 14-12 L vs. Grove City; 16-15 L, 14-13 OT L vs. Connecticut College) to allow the Lions to claim the No. 3 spot.

Team and Spectator Parking Instruction
The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Championships will be held in Lott Natatorium in the Athletic Center of Connecticut College. The Athletic Center is located on the Riverside of Route 32/Mohegan Avenue, directly across from Main Campus, 270 Mohegan Avenue, New London, CT 06457. Team vans and spectators may find parking in front of the Athletic Center or to the left of the Athletic Center as you come down the hill. There is a large parking lot to the left of Dayton Ice Hockey Arena, as well as parking spaces behind the arena. These areas will be the dedicated parking for the Water Polo Championships. On Saturday, April 13, parking will be limited due to also hosting the Silfen Invitational Track Meet at the Athletic Center. On Saturday, spectators should allow an extra 20-30 minutes of travel time prior to match start, and should follow the instructions below for Team Bus Parking. There is absolutely NO PARKING in unmarked spaces. All violators will be towed at their own expense.
Visiting Team Parking – Buses:
While team vans and spectators will be able to park at the Athletic Center, Teams traveling in Buses are to drop off at the circle in front of the Athletic Center and then proceed back up the hill to Route 32. Turn left at the light and proceed to the next light. Turn right into the main campus entrance. Turn left at the top of the hill by the Campus Safety Gatehouse and proceed approximately one-quarter mile. Turn left into the South Parking Lot. Buses are to remain parked in the South Lot until the conclusion of the team’s match. Bus drivers and spectators heading to the Athletic Center from South Lot should walk back toward the Gatehouse, follow the road past the Auditorium and Unity House and take a right towards the Pedestrian Bridge over Route 32 that leads to the Athletic Center. It is about a 5-10 minute walk from South Parking Lot to the Athletic Center. See attached Campus Map.
