BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) is spotlighting the 2020 women’s seniors who had their season cut-short due to the Coronavirus. Conducted through written word or by video, the league’s intention is to recognize its membership.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and set to be a nurse in Connecticut, Madison Germuska came to Hartwick as a varsity Division I player from Encinitas, Calif.
Following the elimination of the varsity team in 2018, she assumed the E-board position in the club and lead the team to two undefeated seasons in the New York Division as a defender. A 2019 All-New York Division selection, she looked forward to leading her team to the National Collegiate Club Championship at Arizona State University this season.
