BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Harvard University will welcome Gannon University, Mount St. Mary’s University, Salem University and Wagner College of the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC), along with fellow Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) institutions the Brown University, Connecticut College and Massachusetts Institute of Technology for the 16-game Harvard Invitational on Saturday-Sunday, October 16-17, at Blodgett Pool.
Action begins on Saturday, October 16, as MIT travels crosstown to face Salem in the kick-off game at 9:00 a.m. prior to the host Crimson tangling with the Golden Knights of Gannon University at 10:15 a.m. Competition continues as Connecticut College versus Wagner (11:30 a.m.) and MIT against Mount St. Mary’s University (1:00 p.m.) lead up to Brown versus Salem (2:15 p.m.) and Harvard clashing with Wagner (3:30 p.m.).
Day one concludes with Connecticut facing Gannon (5:00 p.m.) prior to Brown taking on Mount St. Mary’s (6:15 p.m.).
On Sunday, October 17, play resumes at 8:00 a.m. as Connecticut battles Salem before MIT meets Wagner (9:15 a.m.) and Brown gives it a go against Gannon (10:30 a.m.).
Havard-vs.-Salem (11:45 a.m.), Connecticut-vs.-Mount St. Mary’s (1:00 p.m.), MIT-vs.-Gannon (2:15 p.m.) and Brown-vs.-Wagner (3:30 p.m.) lead up to the weekend concluding game of Harvard-vs.-Mount St. Mary’s (4:45 p.m.).
Harvard Athletics will provide more detailed information regarding fan attendance for 2021-22 home contests in the coming weeks.
