BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — To allow additional rest time for the semifinal victor between No. 2 seed George Washington University and No. 3 seed La Salle University, the 2021 Winter Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Championship game on Sunday, March 7, at Bucknell University’s Kinney Natatorium moves back thirty minutes to a 3:30 p.m. opening sprint.
The change adjusts the championship schedule to an 11:00 a.m. clash between GW and La Salle with the victor competing against the host/No. 1 seed Bison at 3:30 p.m.
The championship will decide the MAWPC’s automatic qualifier for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Men’s Water Polo Championship on March 18, 20-21, at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, Calif.
