IRVINE, Calif. — A year after being canceled due to the pandemic, the USA Water Polo Division III Collegiate Water Polo National Championship is back this season with competition headed to Claremont, California on December 4-5 at Pomona-Pitzer Colleges.

Division III No. 1-ranked Pomona-Pitzer earned hosting honors after claiming the 2021 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championship. The Saghens will be joined in the competition by SCIAC runner-up/Division III No. 2  Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges, Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Eastern Champion/Division III No. 5 Johns Hopkins University of the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) and CWPA runner-up/Division III No. 8 the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) of the Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC). 

Admission for the tournament is $12 for the day or $20 for the weekend with tickets available by CLICKING HERE. Pomona-Pitzer will be providing a live stream of all games, viewing information will be shared as soon as it is available.

Saturday December 4
Noon – Pomona-Pitzer College vs. Massachusetts Institute of Technology

2:00 p.m. –  Johns Hopkins University vs. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges

Sunday December 5
11:00 a.m. – Loser Game 2 vs. Loser 1 (Third Place Game)

1:00 p.m. – Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2 (First Place Game)
