BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — At the request of the participating teams’ head coaches, the schedule for the 2025 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Championship at Brown University’s Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center on Friday-Sunday, November 21-23, is adjusted as of Wednesday, November 12.
The schedule is adjusted on Friday-Saturday, November 21-22, to permit the maximum amount of rest for the competing teams.
On Friday, November 21, the Iona University-vs.-Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) game moves from 5:00 p.m. Eastern to 3:00 p.m., while host Bears’ game against Long Island University moves from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
On Saturday, November 22, the loser of Game 1 and Game 2 meet at 11:00 a.m. for Fifth Place. The semifinals flip positions as top seed Princeton University faces the Winner of Game 1 (Iona-vs.-MIT) at 1:00 p.m. with No. 2 seed Harvard University clashing with the Winner of Game 2 (Brown-vs.-Long Island) at 3:00 p.m.
The schedule on Sunday, November 23, remains unchanged with the Loser of Game 5 meeting the Loser of Game 4 at 10:00 a.m. for Third Place, while the Winner of Game 4 battles the Winner of Game 5 for First Place at Noon.
