BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Game of the Week series continues with a replay of the 2016 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC)-West Region Championship game pitting the host Lakers of Mercyhurst University against the visiting Camels of Connecticut College at the David M. Hallman Aquatics Center.
Played on Sunday, November 6, in Erie, Pa., the game resulted in an 11-8 Mercyhurst victory as the Lakers needed to overcome an early 2-0 deficit in the first quarter to top the Camels and claim the program’s first-ever division title.
Part of the league’s CWPA Network, the game was broadcast by CWPA staff on site.
