BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Freshman Kaitlyn Cook (Fr., Los Gatos, Calif./Los Gatos) totaled five goals, five assists, seven ejections drawn and two steals in a 2-4 weekend for Brown University at home during the Bruno Classic to earn recognition as the February 5 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week.

She helped Brown down Villanova University (12-9 W) and McKendree University (13-5 W) to go along with defeats by No. 24-ranked California Baptist University (9-7 L), Iona College (9-8 L), No. 24 Marist College (11-8 L) and No. 18 San Diego State University (5-4 L OT).

She netted a goal, a field block and an ejection drawn against Cal Baptist to go along with two goals, an assist and an ejection drawn in a victory over McKendree.  Following an assist with a pair of steals versus Iona and a goal with two assists and a pair of ejections drawn against Marist, she helped the Bears turn back Villanova with a goal, an assist and two ejections drawn.

In the weekend finale against San Diego State, she drew an ejection.
