BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — McKendree University is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to serve as a full-time assistant for the school’s men’s and women’s water polo programs.  The water polo program consists of a men’s and women’s team competing at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II level and a men’s team that competes at the club level.

This position assists the Head Water Polo Coach in all phases of the men’s and women’s water polo program. Additionally, the assistant coach will assist in planning and executing the training for all three teams in and out of the pool as well as coaching and teaching, player development, and video analysis and instruction.  He or she will also assist the head coach in administrative duties as assigned, the planning of team travel, recruiting, fundraising, and completing compliance information.  Strong organizational, interpersonal, oral communication and computer skills are required.  Travel is also required. 

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and collegiate/high school coaching experience.   Collegiate playing experience is preferred.
