BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Kayla Yelensky (Jr., Stamford, Conn./Greenwich Academy) of No. 10-ranked Princeton University scored twice during an 11-6 loss to No. the University of Hawaii on Friday, May 10, in a quarterfinals at the 2024 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Women’s Water Polo Championship hosted by the University of California. For her offensive contributions, she is named the May 13 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player of the Week honor.
The award marks the sixth weekly recognition of her intercollegiate tenure as she previously earned Rookie of the Week notices on February 14 and March 14, 2022 and picked up Player of the Week status on January 29, April 8, April 29 earlier this season.
