2025 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference Championship All-Tournament Team Released

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The 2025 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Championship All-Tournament Team was announced this morning with representatives from Bucknell University, host/No. 5-ranked Fordham University, George Washington University, Mercyhurst University, Mount St. Mary’s University, No. 20 the United States Naval Academy and Wagner College selected for their performance during the championship on Friday-Sunday, November 21-23, at Fordham’s Col. Francis B. Messmore Aquatics Center in the Bronx, N.Y.

Leading the team are Most Valuable Player Luca Silvestri (Gr., Napoli, Italy/Istituto Comprensivo Sacro Cuore (Westcliff University)) and Rookie of the Tournament Diego Tresa (Fr., Rome, Italy/Istituto Santa Maria) of five-time (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) MAWPC Champion Fordham along with Coach of the Tournament Barry King of George Washington.

Selections for the All-Tournament Team and the individual awards are based on nominations and voting by the seven institution’s head coaches by the conclusion of the weekend.  Due to time constraints, the three individual awards were presented on-site at Fordham on Sunday, November 23, with the All-Tournament team delayed for the submission of votes weighted upon the entirety of the 10-game championship weekend.
