BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — In less than one month the 2017 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) men’s water polo season kicks off during the weekend of September 2-3.  In celebration of the countdown to the return of men’s water polo, the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) flashes back to Lewisburg, Pa. and the 2016 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Championship hosted by Bucknell University on November 18-20 at Kinney Natatorium.

The inaugural Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference Championship tournament following the division of the CWPA into the MAWPC and the Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) prior to the 2016 season, the event featured Connecticut College, Fordham University, George Washington University, Johns Hopkins University, Mercyhurst University, the United States Naval Academy, Wagner College and the host Bison battling for the league crown and an automatic berth into the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship field.
